Brenham Builds


We have building opportunities in the Brenham area this semester. Through our partnership with the Washington County affiliate, we are currently providing manpower for Habitat for Humanity houses being built in the Brenham area. We gather at fish pond at 7:30 AM on Saturdays to take a carpool out to Brenham for those that may not be able to provide their own transportation.  Usually we have about 30 spots available for sign up at our meetings. If by chance you don't make it onto the list one meeting you should be able to get on the list at the next meeting. Before attending a Brenham build, please fill out the waiver for the Brenham affiliate and the waiver for Wells Fargo.

To get to Brenham from University:
  • start out by going west on University. This will eventually become highway 60.


  • Continue on Highway 60 until you reach FM 50. Exit FM 50 South by turning left.


  • Take FM 50 on down until it merges with highway 105.


  • After passing through the intersection of Highway 105 and FM 577 (S. Bluebell Rd.), you will take the first left once you pass through the stop light. This is will be Sabine Street. Continue on Sabine Street, and take a right onto Clay Street. The house lots are on the left. (4th & 5th lots)
