Shack-A-Thon
Aggie Habitat's goal for Shack-A-Thon is to raise poverty housing awareness while also raising funds for the houses we build for local families in BCS.

Shack-a-Thon will take place this year near the MSC fountain! We will finalize the date in April as the event draws closes.

About Habitat:

Builds:
This semester we will be helping a lot with Brazos County's Habitat for Humanity chapter and their home in Bryan. We will then turn to focus more here locally in October when we will begin helping with the construction of a home in Angel's Gate located in Bryan.

Also, Aggie Habitat girls have the opportunity to volunteer at some of the Women's Circle builds.
In order to participate in builds, you don't need any experience whatsoever. All you need is closed toe shoes, some clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and a desire to help make a difference in someone's life.

Fundraisers:
This year we are planning on increasing our fundraising, and we need your help. Eugene Oh will head a fundraising committee made up of members that want to help us reach our new fundraising goals. If you are interested, please contact Eugene Oh.
Collecting membership dues is actually our largest fundraiser. If every member were to pay their dues, we would be half way towards sponsoring a house. If you need to pay dues, either come to the next meeting or contact our treasurer Chris Mukhar.

Remember guys: It's not necessary to have ANY build experience prior to volunteering at a build, and you should receive a reminder with all necessary information prior to a volunteer shift.

Pumpkin Patch



Thank you to everyone who came out and made this a huge success! Because of you, we over 5,000 pumpkins. We had 4 pumpkin unloads! Our total sale was over 52,000! Our cut from the sale was 21,000. Including donations, our Grand Total Raised is $24,800!
